Holiday Adoption Fundraiser 2008! It is a new year and our second (so now I can say "annual") Holiday Adoption Fundraiser is underway! About our Chinese Character Ornaments
Each of these lovely glass ornaments is painted on the inside by talented Chinese artisans using tiny paint brushes. This process called "Li Bien" is hundreds of years old. Each lovely glass ornament comes in a beautiful silk box and includes a story card about how they were created. Peace, Love, Good Fortune and Double Happiness characters available $17.00 each. Deb and her husband Gerald were in the middle of the adoption process last year when Gerald passed away suddenly. By the grace of God, CCAA has agreed to allow Deb to carry on as a single parent.
